That Mappy book is awesome!  This definitely would not have been available to the public, but distributed to design teams. The Pantone colors are very interesting. If you want to get a match for any of those colors, look in a Pantone Solid Coated book. For example, on the color callouts for Mappy, the first one reads Pantone 279. In a modern Pantone book that would be Pantone 279C (C for coated). Sometimes abriviated to PMS 279C.  Very cool find!
