I had to read this post about the Behr paint as I bought a bunch of it about 5 years ago to paint my attic bedroom DARK RED and I ended up rolling the walls a total of 8 times to cover it so it would not show through. We ended up re-painting it a few years later due to a roofing accident where water soaked our entire house. That time we used a light yellow from Sherwin Williams and it took 2 coats. I will never use Behr paint again. It's worth the money. I'm currently restoring a Centipede and really enjoy your blog and pics from that restore! Thanks! Love your blog Jamie. The Behr paint must have had a puny amount of pigment in it. Yellow is usually on the translucent side, but that is ridiculous! What was the price difference in the paint?
