I’ve been working my ass off since September, trying to get some work done for my day job. I hope to have that work completed by the end of February, and figured it would be cool to take a few days off then and work on a new project. I’ll provide more details as I work on this, but for now – here’s some of the components I just got in the mail from CoolNeon.com:

I got 2 different lengths and colors of El Wire, and have them hooked to a sound activated driver. The driver has a sensitivity setting on it which can be dialed up or down as needed. Stay tuned for more info.

I just got a great deal on a new (to me) neon sign:

I was checking on an auction on eBay that I bid on late last night, and this came up as a suggestion. I took a quick look at it and noticed it was located in Cranston RI, about 40 mins. from me. I asked the seller if I could pick it up instead of having it shipped, expecting to have to wait until the next day for an answer. He replied right away and we setup a time for me to swing by. It worked out well as I had to be in that area today for something else. It cost me $45, so I couldn’t pass it up. Here it is close up:

Now, I can assure you that I have not been searching for “latex” or “dresses” and I am most definitely not a weirdo (at least not in that way). I understand the ShamWOW recommendations, because I had clicked a link to a stupid video for that commercial yesterday. I don’t understand why they think I want to watch that gimp video. Why are you recommending freaky videos for me YouTube??
