I went and bought them at Home Depot after I got the game. I was specifically looking for the same ones because they worked out well before. I looked for awhile in the same aisle and didn't see any narrower ones of the same type. There is another aisle that has some *I think* and they might be smaller. I think they make them wide because they are designed to go under cabinets and probably look a little better that way. They have big plastic diffusers over the bulbs that I usually take off and toss.

So, had you already bought the GE light fixtures, and had them around for this sort of thing? Or did you go and buy them this weekend after you got the game? If that was the case, did the Lowe's or Home Depot not have a smaller fixture then?

Hey Jeff,

Thanks! It is a great looking game. A row of Universal games would definitely be cool.

For the marquee light...I'm sure there are smaller one's out there but I didn't want to have to buy another one. I probably could have cut the case of it down some to fit it in there better. I used the same light in my Popeye and Moon Patrol and they fit in those fine. This game has a much smaller marquee area. It would be better with a nice small light. The actual portion of the light that contains the wiring and ballast is pretty narrow, but they put it in a giant case for some reason.

LOL...Never heard "Jealous Magellan" before. :)

I think the photos from New York, taken of this Universal machine hardly did it justice. Just the color alone makes this machine spectacular. You are lucky, I am going to try to have to remember to try out the gameplay to see if I should be the one collector who goes after a slew of Universal games, a lineup of sorts that can "West Side"-it against the more "popular cool kid" Nintendos.

Seriously, nice addition, well worth the price given the one in Tenn went for $400 yesterday.

I would be annoyed by the light fixture behind the marquee...but to each his own. Hopefully there isn't a better fixture out there to fit that space, and you don't have to change that bulb often.

I hadn't noticed the rails on the back to prevent damage before. I had kind of seen them in passing in photos of Universal machines, but it didn't click. No one gives Universal enough credit, especially on the few instances of their games that have full illustrated sideart. Love the slopes by the control panels of these machines. Jealous Magellan.
