Noise Land Arcade Video Tour
Videos February 6th, 2008Greetings and salutations. I haven’t written in a few days, because I haven’t had anything exciting to talk about (and I’m lazy). I got word today that my new Baby Pac-Man cabinet *should* be here on Friday. I’m not holding my breath, but that’s at least promising.
I shot a short video tour of our arcade with my digital camera. I figured it would be cool to be able to show people what it looks like if you were actually here. Check it out:

Great video. Love that crane machine. Is that the same width as your average arcade cab? I’d love to get one, but have a small entrance into the cellarcade.

Thanks Bob! I think the crane may actually be a little narrower than most games. It’s nice and small. It is pretty tall though.

Cool, I’ve never seen a skinny crane. All the ones I’ve ever seen are like 3-4 feet wide. Did you get that off craigslist?

I just measured it…it’s 24 3/4″ wide. I got it at an amusement center in Mystic CT that was going out of business. It was $75, and was broken when I got it. I got another one just like it from the same place that had a very busted cabinet for $25, and I used that one for parts to get this one working. They seem to come up on eBay pretty often.

There’s another one on there that has a buy it now of $600. I’m a cheapskate, and wouldn’t pay that much for one.

Appreciate that. I’m cheap too, but also lack most skills needed to fix these. I’m gonna watch these auctions. PA isn’t too far.

Damn.. Just logged into ebay for the 1st time since Friday, and one of those ended at $67.07… That babypac cap kit looks perfect.
